Koro-Sensei

Summary

It all starts when 3/4 of the moon is disintegrated one day, there is a weird octopus-like creature with no name. He claims to be the one who destroyed most of the moon. After this, the government starts to investigate this creature that can fly at mach 20 (about 340 m/s). The government realizes that this creature is very powerful and they make a deal with him. The deal is, (for some strange reason) to let him become a professor at Kunugigaoka Junior High, at class 3-E, and make the students train as assassins, because they will need to kill him by the end of the school year, or he will disintegrate all of the planet. Obviously, the government has to accept the deal. The government informs all of the students of the class about this deal, but they can not tell anyone. The rewards for killing the creature is ten billion dollars in cash. So, the classes begin. Class 3-E  is the class for the rejects, people that didn't have good grades would be sent to that class as a consequence in some way, people from that class were bullied and judged by all of the other students from the school. The students quickly learn about this creature and start to create very good plans to kill the monster, who they now call Koro-Sensei (this is a pun, 'sensei' means teacher, and 'korosenai' means can't be killed, that is why he is called Koro-Sensei) but it is going to be a lot harder than expected.



Quotes

" 'I never thought of myself as an assassin before...' '... and there are a lot of things I have to learn to become a proper one...' 'but somehow I know' 'i'll kill you before I let that happen!' " (53- 54) 
This is what Nagisa (one of the students at class 3-E) says as he realizes what he has to do, he is determined to kill Koro-Sensei as fast as he can, with help of his classmates and friends.

"You disintegrate most of the moon and tell us you're going to blow up the Earth... why shouldn't we use nasty methods to kill a nasty creature?!" (48)
This is said by a student of Koro-Sensei after the teacher is mad because they used an strategy that consisted to make Nagisa go near Koro-Sensei and activate a grenade he had hiden in his neck, it was a grenade that was full of bb's inside that kill Koro-Sensei, but the explosion will still harm Nagisa.

Summary A student called Karma Akabane is shown all of the information of Koro-Sensei, because he will also be a student in class 3-E, just that he was suspended for a while. He shows up to his first day to school late, giving him a bad way to see him, but he shows he is a very good student and is very smart. When he goes and meets Koro-Sensei, he is the first human to actually damage him, only by giving him his hand (he sticks in his hand pieces of the knives that can kill Koro-Sensei). He proves other students he is the best in the class, an possibly the one responsible for Koro-Sensei's death in a distant future. Like I said before, he was a very good student, he was an A student actually, but the problem is that he is very very agressive, to the point he had to be suspended, so even though he had good grades they had no other choice that to put him in Class 3-E.
